I made another video, check it out if you're bored https://www.youtube....h?v=Okk911cZ_co

Keep in mind this was filmed before I had put up my last video from Wakefield, so I couldn't take on board all the feedback I got from it.

Also I'm not sure where but I saw someone mention something about Sydney not having a comp like the acherfield drift series. I'd really suggest to anyone looking for a fair entry level comp to consider entering SuperDrift. The judges are very good and really look at the drivers skill, if you have a basic car you can definitely win if you know how to steer it well!

Let me know what you think :)

You hammered on that pretty damn hard! That track has some decent bumps in it, or was the car just running super stiff suspension?

Pity about all the wind noise. If you can't jam an external mic on it then i've had success just putting a pit of tape over the mic hole. The engine and tyre noise is so loud that it still picks it up no problem

The suspension is the normal 8/6 but the coilovers are pretty shagged so that probably contributed to the bumpiness, but generally I think the track is know for being rough.

Next time I'll definitely try to use an external microphone to get better sound quality. I was mainly using a Sony Actioncam this time since they work well in the dark but they are terrible for wind noise and have no provision to plug a microphone in (easily). I'll try your idea about the tape next time I use it though!
