How do you get them on to pc?

Scan the negatives/ slide film. Most places that develop film can scan to a cd.

Not sure if I have any more of that laurel though which I'm annoyed about, wish I took more photos of it.

But I still have about 10 rolls left to get developed, some from Nepal, Japan, NZ, Samoa and matsuri and random stuff. Sucks that nowhere in qld develops (e-6) colour slides.

Photo Continental don't anymore? I haven't developed in years lol.

Do you know anywhere that does the slides? I have a couple of friends down south that are heavily into film and random old cameras etc, they'd have somewhere there for sure.

I think there is a place in Brisbane that can do slides but are only open really weird hours haha. So I'm yet to actually take any film to them. I should take some to them though because it'll save a week or two on postage.

Other than that I only know a few places in Melbourne.

Fotofast in Toowong is good for colour negatives (c-41) and they outsource black and white so that's where I normally go.

So is there any advantage to using coloured film over a digital camera with a filter or is it personal prefereance?

For me it's a personal preference. I use to shoot digital a lot but once I started shooting film I didn't go back.

I love that you have to commit to a photo because you won't know how it's going to look until you get that roll developed. It's a great surprise too when I get a roll developed even if it's only a month later or two years later.

There's a lot of advantages in my opinion.
Main ones being that you have a hard copy of all your photos and the second one being that the scan quality is the only thing holding back the image quality and the size of the image, as long as you buy professional quality film.

Disadvantages are film prices and development costs haha.

The scaffold covered a-dome makes for a good picture but damn it was a let down getting there and not getting to see it properly. Pictures are awesome!
