I thought some people might be interested to see a few photos I've taken on my iPhone of my trip. I will later, probably in a few months upload the best photos from the rolls of film I've shot.
Anyway I did a walk with my family through the Himalayas in Nepal. We walked from a little village called jiri all the way to lukla, then onto namche and from there we went to kalapatar and Everest base camp. After that we did cho la (la stands for pass) it's at 5380m I believe. That afternoon we arrived in gokyo and went up to gokyo ri. We ended up flying out of lukla, the most dangerous airport in the world rather than walking an extra 8 days out. Anyway readings boring, here's some photos.

It's been an amazing experience but I would not suggest doing it in peak season (I think September, Octobers peak for trekking) as it was busy enough at times with slow retarded walkers when we were out and it's winter and freezing at the moment. Apparently they get 700 Trekkers a day flying into lukla in peak season.

Also for anyone wanting to do it, I thought kalapatar and base camp were way overrated where as on the opposite side, gokyo ri and gokyo lakes were amazing
Anyway I'm keen to get home and eat some real meat and hopefully do a morning sesh!

When I'm back I will need to get the 15 rolls of film developed by my brother, which will take a while since he shot 70 rolls of film (30 120mm through his hasselblad and 40 35mm haha)
